The files below are from a variety of sources (OHHS records, individuals, Kogarah Library, Oatley Public School archives) – some photos of classes do not have a clear indication of what class and what year. We have displayed photos in the year that the source provided. Sometimes there are the same photos in different years without an indication of the real truth. There several missing years where we dont have any photos. In some years we have material other than class photos and these are included. The photographers of these photos hold copyright after 1957 and OHHS acknowledges them for the period since 1958.
Certificates submitted by Christine Johnson the daughter of Esme Rogers. Esme mother married Mr Rogers and later a Derwent. They lived in Wyong Street and Christine remembers playing on the train line when she visited her grandparents. Christine’s grandmother started a band and played in concerts to make money. Maybe some know of her and if so then please contact the Oatley Heritage and Historical Society.
